Here's an interesting article about an Eagle scout that is getting booted for being an atheist.

It sounds like he's receiving a lot of support from many of the parents. Perhaps if more people like this kid came out then maybe some real change could occur within the boy scouts.

Yeah, this is currently being addressed in SL&S and also in CSS&A on <a href="http://iidb.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=59&t=000777" target="_blank">this thread</a>. My thoughts are on this link.
