For me it was simply thinking rationally about what I had always taken for granted. Where I had previously accepted Christian principles as being the "right way," it didn't take long being here at the IIDB to wipe THAT away.

Also, it just seems more satisfying to me doing good deeds for others because I want to, not because I think I'm building up a favorable resume for god.
