Priest says "the Lord vomited people like Ben out of his mouth to hell"....so now nine members of the Martinez family are seeking punitive and compensatory damages for severe emotional and physical suffering.

Dammit...I should have thought of that years ago!

From the article ~

"If you are Catholic and a representative of your church says your father is going to hell, that's perhaps the most devastating thing someone can say to you," she said.

What would Jesus say?

They fuck little boys, conspire for decades to cover it up, so why should we be surprised if one of them bad mouths an old dead guy at his funeral in front of the grieving family?

When your religion is making southern baptists look good in comparison, it's time to regroup.

Not that I would ever be an apologist for southern baptists (SBC), but I believe these particular folks are independent baptists, closer to the holiness or penecostal churches, what
with the speaking in tongues and sprinkling of 'holy' oil.

((Did anyone besides me find the "beating the 'hell' out of the guy'' approach somewhat ironic?))

I think the priest and preacher are both awesome...they have both correctly reflected the tenets of their dogma.

If only more christians would be as forthright.
