Teh Flud is TROO!!!!
Like my creationist type spelling?
Anyhow, while I was bored at work, I thought of the following flood model that completely accounts for all the water on the earth without magicking it away. Back during the time of the flood, the "sea level" was MUCH lower. Much of what now is filled by water was once filled by land. The world was more or less uniform across. Now, the rain carved out certain areas, and God moved the land masses around too (he was royal PO'ed), pushing up land to make room for the flood waters to recede into. The water from the floods now exists as the ocean water. Prior to this time, there was very little salt water--the salt came from pilars that were exposed during the flood, and gradually dissolved into and changed the salinity. Fish didn't die, due to the gradual change. Freshwater fish still exist because certain areas, due to topographic reason, were alienated from the other water (like little dams and stuff that extended EXACTLY to the height of the water--remember, God set the height of the flood, and he ain't gonna make some metric error or stuff). The fish in there were thusly conserved as freshwaters. Now, should I come up with a more detailed version and post it? Any advice on how to improve this phyiscal model would be appreciated. I would like ways to partially insulate it from flud deniers criticisms, so it could be used at certain Xian websites for fun times at a later date. Help therefore, will be greatly appreciated, and I'll make some acknolwedgements in the final draft. Comments and critiques are welcome. |

Sad to say, JTDC, but I've seen all your (non-heretical) arguments actually used by YEC's on various websites or message boards. That's "used" as in apparently "in a non-satirical manner."

How much time do you spend on Creation boards? Because that's nothing compared to what I've seen. Perhaps you haven't read the threads on "creationists say the darndest things," etc? |
