"The kingdom of heaven is spread upon earth but people do not see it"
How would you interpret this Hezekiah Jones? Umm. So does that mean an atheist (or other non-xian) can get into heaven if they are a good person? Yes I can't make sense of it otherwise, check out this one: http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.p...threadid=50675 DD - Love Spliff |

It sounds like one of those "fuck yous" that comes at the end of a discussion between a theist and an atheist. Inevitably the theist (especially those inclined to fundianity) will say something like, "Well, if you weren't so blind or ignorant or bitter you would see these things just like I do and you would accept Jesus into your heart and the guidance of the Holy Spirit and you'd come to the peace you're obviously so sorely missing in your life, the peace that surpasses all understanding and be saved by the blood of the blah blah blah blah blah." It's the height (or depth) of arrogance, if you ask me. |

So you do not find ANY meaning in the mentioned verse?
If you do, what is it? Why is it included into the bible? Surely there was a reason? I hope I am not perceived as a fundy, as I do not profess definate knowledge as such. you'd come to the peace you're obviously so sorely missing in your life, the peace that surpasses all understanding and be saved by the blood of the blah blah blah blah blah." LOL :notworthy I don't really know if you lack peace in your life, but hey who am I to say if peace is found at the bottom of a dressing bottle Oh and you called me a preterist, what is that? And do you still regard me as one? Cheers DD - Love Spliff |

I wouldn't know a "preterist" if it smacked me with a wet mackeral. So can Jesus kick you out of heaven or wot? |
