Can Jesus kick you out of Heaven?
The world's laziest spiritual doctrine, "Saved By Grace Alone™," is supported by Magus with the following Paulism:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. This apparently has to do with the criteria for "salvation." Paul is warning against someone (or something) being misled by idle boasting. Since men do not decide who gets into Heaven, that something must be Jesus. So if Jesus is tricked by idle boasting, and finds out about it later, can Jesus then downgrade the boaster's status from Heaven to Hell? |

Good question.
The Bible says that Jesus has predetermined those who will be saved - I wonder how that plays into things? |

Bree is correct in theory. However this is a teaching of John Calvin, Calvin contends (as Paul alluded to) that we are elected according to God's "good pleasure".
However there is scripture that says God can graft you back onto the tree (like a branch can be grafted back onto a fig tree). So I am left to conclude that God has predestined but according to his foreknowledge of an individual. If Calvinism is correct, I would find trouble trying to find a just reason to create, save, and damn any person based solely on his good pleasure. I don't believe this is the case because scripture also says that while your name appears in the book of life, it can also "still" be blotted out. |

Because of man's fallen nature we cannot be granted salvation based on any works we do, it is purely a gift from God through grace in believing in Jesus.
Remember the repented murderer at calvary went to heaven with Jesus at the crucifixion, while the unrepenting mere thief was denied. |

What the heck is impiled by "good pleasure".
Add that to the unknown "serving" duties in heaven that we've heard so much about and well....you can draw your own conclusion about what goes on in heaven. According to Magus people in heaven have no genitals, but that doesn't mean God doesn't. |

But according to Magus the correct term would probably be "anal and oral sex slaves". |

God judges works...
Thanks to Celsus for these references .
"I, the Lord, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. And I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done." [Jeremiah 17:10] "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be paid back according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or evil." [2 Corinthians 5:10] "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead." [James 2:26] "And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Then books were opened, and another book was opened—the book of life. So the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds." [Revelations 20:12] "But she will be delivered through childbearing, if she continues in faith and love and holiness with self-control." [1 Timothy 2:15] |
