From http://www.gate.com/~zardoz/HitlerSources.htm

Hitler's Table Talk

Those who deny Hitler as a Christian will invariably find the recorded table talk conversations of Hitler from 1941 to 1944 as incontrovertible evidence that he could not have been a Christian. The source usually comes from the English translation edition by Norman Cameron and R. H. Stevens, with an introduction by H.R. Trevor-Roper.

The table talk has Hitler saying such things such as: "Christianity is an invention of sick brains...," "The best thing is to let Christianity die a natural death."

I would guess that Hitler perceived it was necessary to show an outward deference to Christianity, for political ends, especially before he became dictator.

Perhaps, but I feel that he used Xianity (including the support of the Pope and Rome, the base of the Church) to achieve his goals.

Okay, so we've established that Hitler either was or was not, a Christian.

Now, back on topic.

Can you think of two religions that haven't been combined? Wicca and Islam?

Judging by the fact that Islam allows unlimited divorce, 4 wives + unlimited maidservants, and the putting to death of anyone who offends Islam, and that the Islamic heaven is full of nubile young women, I can't see there is much difference between wicca and Islam.

Christianity + Paganism = Roman Catholicism
Christianity + Democracy = Gnosticism
Christianity + Judaism = Phariseeism

I'd guess he's studying the "I hate all religions but Christianity" form of Wicca

I also would like to know to which tradition of Wicca to which you refer. I cannot see how the violence you described is evident in the Wiccan Reed:"An it harm none, do what ye will."

Also, Priciples of Wiccan of the Counsel of American Witches might give you more insight on the principles that Wiccans base their lives on.

How would the Raeliens be classified? New Age meets Darwinism?

But since evolution isn't a religion maybe this falls under a unique hybrid.
Then again, from what little I've read, the Raeliens more or less claim that all religions came from ET's.

I've known 'Islamic Wiccan's before. It was rather disturbing. In fact, if you can name a religion, it has been combined with Wicca at one point or another.

And generally it is done with complete disregard for whether or not the two faiths make logical sense together (the Christian Wicca thing still escapes me)...:banghead:

Come to think of it, I knew one, too. But I don't know whether to count it as a combo religion or not, because she didn't seem interested in reconciling the two religions, and preferred having both occupy her mind without mixing, like the peas and mashed potatos on the plate of a finicky child.

So, um... Zorastrianism and Shinto? Confucianism and Islam?
