no game. I'm just parroting questions/responses from folks at my college, that's how i learn,i am a believer in the adversarial method, ....has jerusalem become a "stumbling block " to the nations? has jersualem become a "cup of trembling" to the nations? do the kings of the earth vie for control of this land? will the armies gather to fight at armageddon? will a king come who will require all men to receive a mark/subdermal ID chip/tatoo on their forehead or right forearm? will the "Kings of the East"(China, etc) march upon Israel? Is the Karakoram highway a military highway designed for military conquest? are buzzards and flesh eating birds gathering by the thousands near the valley of armageddon? why does the world hate the jews so much? what happens if the dome of the rock is destroyed? why?

So what ICB? you going to let these guys run you off just like that? Stand up and say you are a Christian or that you're not. I'm willing to discuss Bible prophecy with anyone.

To the point of saturation it seems. To be honest with you, lcb, I think you're a fraud, and a rather juvenile one at that. If and when you want to have an honest discussion, simply put forward a position and defend it.

O.K. Glad to see you back. You must understand that the positions you are advocating can be and have been refuted many times, and maybe some people find it hard to beleive that you haven't found a refutation for them yet.

I second reasonable doubts' motion

i am a skeptic/searcher/college student....and I am somewhat intrigued by the many prophecies concerning Israel and the somewhat unusual focus of much of the world on Israel at this time.No one seems to be willing to address the original website i posted and that makes me wonder....its just a conversation.

I sincerely hope you are not a fraud.

Because if you are a Christian posing as an athiest- then understand that deception is the tool of the Devil, not of God.

If you are genuine, then yes- I agree that we may be seeing the fulfillment of many exciting prophecies, or we may just be seeing a shadow of what is to come off in the distant future.

I think it is very possible that I may not physically die before Israel returns to God.

What an exciting time that will be!

and p.s. the president of the U.S. and two thirds of the U.S. Congress just called the Ninth Circuit a bunch of godless idiots, and reaffirmed the use of God in the pledge of allegiance,so I think i am reasonable in trying to find out why many of my college professors and a lot of students here think the way they do. Capische?

No one has had the time since you first posted to address that web site because it's a lot of work to go through that many detailed claims, and we've seen it all before, and seen it all debunked before. You can read about it in Bible Prophecy: Failure or Fulfillment? by Tim Callahan, who has actually done the work of tracking down all the details.

And you should realize that while most of the country and the Congress are Christian, a minority of those Christians actually think that there is anything to this prophesy scam. Yes, the Congress is going to stand up for God in the Pledge, but that is base abject politics.

In any case, I took a look at your website and picked out a prophesy.

Quote:
4. Trees again would grow in Israel
Bible passage: Isaiah 41:18-20
Written: perhaps between 701-681 BC
Fulfilled: late 1900s
That was a daring prophesy! Especially since directly beneath it they tell you "You can help: By the way, you too can help with Israel's efforts to plant more trees."

And then there is this:

Quote:
6. Jerusalem would become the world's most important religious site
Bible passage: Micah 4:1
Written: sometime between 750-686 BC
Fulfilled: Today
In Micah 4:1, the prophet said that the Temple mount in Jerusalem would become the focal point of the world. This prophecy has not yet been fulfilled. But, it is interesting to note that Jerusalem is, and has been for centuries, the world's most important religious site. Christians and Jews regard the city as the world's most important, and Christians and Jews comprise about one-third of the world's population. No other city in the world is a religious focal point to as many people.

Here is Micah 4:1
In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
So they are counting something that they admit has not been fulfilled as something that is "recently fulfilled"??

This web site is not intelligent or accurate. Please explain to me why I should spend any more time with it. Preferably after you read Callahan's book.
