It seems that I don't need to, since daemon has solved this one for us

I made my contribution because Christians seem eager to maintain a distance between God and "evil". They are usually quick to blame satan for Job's difficulties since it's an easier concept to grasp. Also, my fundy sister recently said that God doesn't "send" people to hell; hell was created for satan, and some of us follow him there. This explanation is easier to swallow than the biblical portrayals of God himself casting people into hell.

Yes- this is definitely an aside.....sorry!</strong>

I wasn`t referring to what you said Enlightened Lady. I was talking about Helen suggesting that it might not be God,but Satan trying to fool people instead.
But now it looks like daemon has info that once again protects Helens God of Abraham from accusations of bad behavior.

You can tell that God of yours that he won this round Helen, but we`ll meet again and he might not be so lucky next time.

Well, I figure - as my signature on the ILJ boards says - "My God can defend Himself".

So, I leave it to Him . After all, if He's not going to then I'm wasting my time and if He is then my contribution is redundant!
