Post How to convert a christian..

Hi- I'm an atheist or agnostic, depending on how you define it.
I come from a very strong fundi-christian background. After I "de-converted" from christianity, I started out on a new "quest" to "de-convert" my family. I figured that I was doing them a favor, by helping them to see through, so many of their superstitions. Most of my attempts at any logical conversations, have turned into arguments. I have become angry, and so have they. The more I am honest, the sadder it makes them. (They don't want me to go to hell.) Most of them, are not at all open to thinking- outside of the bible. So it has become useless to try.
Except for my sister (who is 17). She has studies huge amounts of christian (fundi) theology and apologetics (as have I). She wants to use her brain, and wants to find truth. The more I help to "convince" her, or when I ask those "perfect" questions- I can tell that it is confusing her. I can tell that she KNOWS (deep down), but doesn't want to believe it yet..
(I think that my mother is the same way, but refuses to allow herself to think about it to much.)

Could her "de-conversion" become a resentment towards ME? Will she blame ME? I think that it is inevitable that she will (eventually) "de-convert" (I hope..I think?) Am I "stealing" her belief in a "god"? Is that nice of me?

Lately I have left them alone, and we do not talk about religion. It is easier that way, and I have refused to pray with them anymore, or participate in any other religious "practices".
If (what they believe) makes them happy, and its not hurting me (too much), then why should I care?
Shouldn't I just let them come to their own conclusions?

Does anyone have any thoughts about this?
Thanks!!

Your topic can be found <a href="http://iidb.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=55&t=000210" target="_blank">here</a>

I'm off to type my response to you now!
