Moses/Exodus/Slaves
Let get some things straightened out....
Did Moses exist? Did the Exodus take place? And did Eypgt have slaves, Hebrew ones? Archeological proof points to no Exodus, at least one of 40 years..but then the term 40 in the bible means unspecified time. Like it rained 40 days and 40 nights. Translation: It rained for a long time. Maybe the entire Exodus was a month. Anyway...love to hear thoughts on all three areas. |

bibleorigins.net under the OT Menu and the Archaeology Menu regarding the Exodus and its problems, as noted by mainstream scholars. My research suggests that although the Exodus as portrayed in the Bible is fiction, it is based upon real historical events which ahve been transformed, re-interpreted, and embellished. These events are attestable from a wide spectrum of archaeological data from Early Bronze II in the 3rd millenium BCE to the Late Iron Age, ca. 640-587 BCE.
