Again, these are two different kinds of slavery we're talking about and cannot be compared. You said you sought to show that the distinction between the two is not razor sharp. I beg to differ. Since one needs to reword the definition of slavery to fit the two types, they are indeed very different. The Bible wasn't talking about a person too cowardly to stand up to their spouse or boss or whatever as being a slave.


And I guess you have nothing to add to this:

Some attributes of humanity's "fallen nature":
murder
adultery
slavery
homosexuality
stealing
lying

God can speak against and forbid all of these except for slavery. Why?

You're confusing the issue now. I said the line between what was in Jesus' time called slavery and what is now called employment was not razor sharp, not the line between serving of one's own free will and slavery under the rule of a tyrant.
