Default God protects angel figurines

I'm not sure which of the four states this is from, but I've seen the same news clip twice so far on CNN.

This womans house was totally bashed apart by a tornado yesterday and the only thing that didn't get broken was a cabinet that had a few little angel figurines as well another small figurine of praying hands.

She of course said the unbroken figurines were a sign that God was watching out for her and her family.

Maybe she can trade those magical figurines in for a new house.

So instead of tornado shelters or getting in the bathtub, people in "tornado alley" should climb into the cabinet with the religious figurines?

Or better than that you could duct tape figurines all over your body and get up on your roof.

Why don't they just build giant "praying hands" houses?

Yeah, but thats an awful lot of porcelain. And where are you gonna find an oven big enough?

My idea is not only cost efficient, but also utilizes all that duct tape the govt told us to stockpile for the terrorist attacks that never happened.

I can see the headlines now: "Searchers find dead man; religious figurines taped to his torso miraculously unbroken!"

I'd say the opposite- clearly god hates her and her family. God destroyed her house after all, and nearly killed her in the the process. Of course god would spare the figurines, no sense destroying them, but he made damned sure to take out her house and everything else she owns.

She had better repent fast!

Talking

Saving angel figurines? Well, whoopie friggin' ding! If God hangs around long enough to shepherd the homeowners' insurance claim through to a speedy and successful conclusion, then I'll be impressed.
