I've just come up with a "proof".
The early parts of the Bible have lots of genealogies; the NT carries on this tradition with Matthew and Mark having genealogies of Jesus Christ, or at least of his mother's husband. This can be interpreted as saying that ancestry is an important consideration, thus establishing evolution. Natural selection might be demonstrated from Matthew 3:18, 7:19 and Luke 3:43: "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." |
