Well sorry to disappoint but I may be an evolutionist. I was boning up on my paleoanthropology in order to shoot it full of holes and it all began to make sense. I also found out that it gets shot full of holes all the time anyway by other anthropologists any way and by no means do these Guys consider each other infallible or not look critically at the evidence.
I would like to see an abiogenesis debate, but since my interest in biology is primarily in the organismal level and amoung mammals, birds and reptiles I don't feel qualified. I think someone with a general interest in microbiology, physics geology and chemistry would do a better job.

Geo - maybe then another topic at another time.
But, fortunately, you've got me all fired up on teaching myself the current doings in abiogenesis, so I'll probably be badgering all of you to death with obscure little bits of chemistry...

Better yet, why not write an updated FAQ for talkorigins?

Wow GeoTheo, that was quick. Now maybe can I interest you in this other theory of mine. . . the more money I get, the better your life will be!

Seriously though Geo, I am so happy that you were willing to examine the evidence for yourself. Heh, I don't think I really ever questioned evolution until I started talking to people like you (the poster formerly known as GeoTheo) and realizing that some people did not believe in it. So I asked myself, "Do I believe in it?" I examined the evidence (when I was a Christian--catholic actually) and found it to pass the test.

Later of course I became an atheist, but that's a whole other story. The point is - it's difficult to challenge and evaluate belief systems, so hats off to anyone willing to give it a shot!
