Well then, as long as we're all agreed...

Let's get back on topic, shall we? Using psychotropic drugs while camping, was it?

I love how you can have a meteor shower any night of the year, with the proper chemical enhancements!

Um, as an atheist, I'd have to say "no."

I live a life of joy, pain, and wonder. It's pretty amazing and, for lack of a better word, quite spiritual. I don't need drugs, however mild, or god to dim my understanding of my relationship with the world around me. All I need is introspection, wonder, and empathy for the world to be utterly amazing place. A little common sense and education help, too.

the colors were amazing; bright and bold, and so many of them! We couldn't stop laughing for what seemed like hours. Later in the nite, I got into a really deep dialogue with Princess Leia and Chewbacca (The Empire Strikes Back had just come out), but both Jesus and Han were no-shows.

My ideal vacation is two weeks in a tent in the North Georgia mountains. I've hiked long and hard with a 60 lb pack and hated/loved every moment of it.

It made me more aware of Goddess and her blessings. It made me a better Pagan and a better person. I live in South Alabama now so I don't get to the mountains any more.

I just wanted to say that we get out of things what we expect to get out of them. You became a better Theist and I became a better Pagan. I trust we both became better people.

One time I had a conversation with my bubble gum. I was not having a great time, so I went out back to be by myself. I chilled and rode it out for a little bit, then my gum started talking to me: "Go back in. It's a great party in there. Listen, they're playing Beastie Boys. You love Beastie Boys." And I was like, "You're right, gum! I will!" And I went in and enjoyed the party.

No Jesus, though.

Many atheists have mystical experiences if you want to know. I even had dreams and visions about Greek gods, alternative landscapes, and ghosts (once). How do you know Jesus is the way? There are millions of different kinds of mystical experiences people dreamed up in history. The only thing it proves is that it differs from person to person.

I don't live my life trying to disprove anything. I live my life trying to have a damn good time, especially since it's the only one I get.

What really sucks is telling anybody that the way they live their life sucks. Even if I think it, I would never be so rude as to say it.
