Default Eden

Do YECs believe that Eden is somewhere out there on the planet and we just can't find it? After all, it never says in the bible that Eden was destroyed, just that Adam and Eve were banished from it. Do fundies go off in search of Eden?

I've often wondered this same thing. I can just imagine all of those YEC explorers searching for the flaming swords.

I've also seen a similar article on AiG, I can't remember the address. The YECs believe Eden cannot be found now because it was destroyed in the Flood.

Wait... so they spend time looking for other pre-flood 'evidence' but Eden isn't among it?

Here's the Biblical (YEC, more accurately) geological model, if you're interested, by Tas Walker:

Probably somewhere in the middle east, near the Tigris and the Euphrates, although thats just a guess. There was a show on the discovery channel awhile back where archaeologists believed that they found where Eden used to be, but don't know how accurate it is.

And Eden was destroyed by the flood.

The flood of rational thinking which made it clear that the place was a myth.

Why did I bother asking if some ignorant people still believed in stupid crap like this? I was just curious.
