Hi,
I wonder if any one would know what was the religion of Jesus? Remember that religious is one's spiritual duty. :boohoo: |

None of the above. Jesus was set free from religion but he was regenerated out of Judiasm.

I think Jesus is a myth, so none of the above.

Things that Xians seem to forget:

Jesus was a Jew
Martin Luther was a Catholic
Neither was trying to create a new religion. It just sort of happened. Luther was particularly saddened at the splintering of the Church, as he only sought to fix a corrupt, flawed system. |

Before I can answer, I must ask what's the difference between Judaism and "Rabbinic"?

I personally think Jesus was a Judaic reformer with perhaps some messiac hopes. Such reformers are littered throughout the OT, but none of them were deitized. It's possible that Jesus also tried to integrate Eastern philosophies into Judaism as well, since some of Jesus's teachings echo Indian morality. However after his death it seems that Greek thought and messianic fervor got the better of his followers, and like many other exceptional people back then, he was turned into a God.

Religion of Jesus
Hi,
Jesus came to do the Will of Father and not his own will. Submission to the Will of God is called Islam and that too was the religion of the Second anointed Christ Nanak of the Punjab. But the greedy sons of Satan smothered Christianity by the end of the First Century and anti-christs Popes dominated the Church. Same situation in the Punjab. What gold has to do with God? |
