Has anyone read Daniel Quinn's book The Story of B? An interesting point that it makes in it is that it religions with the concept of "salvation" (Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and others) started to appear all around a certain time period (namely after the agricultural revolution). It is a good point to make to Christians - that Christianity is not a truth, but just another religion which followed a trend in history.
