The Pope Conducting Exorcisms
<a href="http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,3803542%255E13780,00.html" target="_blank">http://news.com.au/common/story_page/0,4057,3803542%255E13780,00.html</a>
"POPE John Paul II has carried out three exorcisms during his 23 years as pontiff, the latest as recently as last September, Italy's best known exorcist revealed in a newspaper interview..." I like this bit in particular... '"They were seeing this young girl rolling on the ground, something which the Vatican had never seen," he said.' No, well they wouldn't have, would they? |

One wonders why a supposedly loving and compassionate god would let demons or devils possess someone in the first place.

Damn! Think I could get it to make me cough up a computer? That would save me a heck of a lot of dough.

What's with spitting out "bits and pieces" of a transistor radio? Is the devil becoming a sissy or what? You'd think he could at least cause her to spit out an entire radio in one piece.
Now that would be a little more impressive. |

Did anyone see "On the record with Greta Van Susteren" yesterday? (it`s one of those annoying Fox news shows)
Greta`s studio guest was Minister Macnutt from the Christian life church or some other foolish place. I`m not sure of the name of the church, but the word 'Christian' was part of it. Macnutt,an 'authority' on exorcisms, didn`t have any info on the Popes exorcisms, but he did say that 'personal satans' are on the rise in Europe. Greta played the twisting head scene from The Exorcist and then asked Macnutt if Hollywood exorcisms are different than real life. Macnutt said there was very little difference between real life and Hollywood except that he`s never heard of Satan killing any priests. I was laughing so hard that I almost peed my bed and I have no idea how Greta and Macnutt kept straight faces. |

Pope, Schmope. We got our own local exorcist here in a Detroit suburb.
