Well, Lucas basically gave up on trying to rectify C-3PO's meeting Obi Wan in episode I, but then having no idea who he was in episode IV...

Also, I will see it in the theatre, I've promised my now 4-year-old that I will take her. She has seen the other five over twenty times each and refers to the movies by who gets their hand chopped off.

"Daddy, I want to see the one where Luke get's his hand chopped off"

I reply

"Yes, Empire is the best one, let's watch it again shall we".

C'mon, that is so easy, C3PO just needs a memory wipe and all is good. If R2 is there when C3PO comes to they could reestablish their friendship and it's all wrapped up in one neat little package.

I think George Lucas should get his hands chopped off to prevent him from writing the script.

I think he's a good idea man, but he should leave the screenplay and directing to someone else.

Kudos on this one. Gave me chills just reading about it. I would love to see Christiansen get what's for from McGregor. And I use their real names because I care about (or despise) the actors more than the characters at this point.

Oh, and the ending shot of the movie should be Anakin having the Darth Vader mask put on view from behind, then he turns to face the audience, the mask filling the screen, with no sound but the mechanical breathing.

Fade out to credits.

Now that would be chilling!

Will we also learn where he picks up his deep bass voice and accent?

Well, imdb.com does not have James Earl Jones listed amongst the cast for Episode III.

JEJ has claimed to have recorded some dialogue for Ep III already.

As for will I go see it? I will, but only because, like a train wreck, it's hard to look away. Especially when something you once loved is involved.

I'll go to the theatre to see Ep. 3, but I certainly am not counting the days. Although, some of the ideas presented in this thread have definitely piqued my interest in the possibilities... George Lucas should read this thread and get a clue---or sever a hand.

Now if we were talking about LOTR, I am anxiously awaiting THAT part III.

(Not to mention the Two Towers DVD which seems to be taking forever to come out!!)
