From the box-office doom of TPM and AOTC, to pathetic fanfare of Samuel Jackson's "Death scene" (LOOK AT ME, MEESA'S GONNA DIE!)...oh need I mention this century's greatest pop-actor Hyaden Christensen. When almost any Tom, Dick or Harry knows Ep 3 will flop, will you spend another 10 bucks...or give Lucas another chance?
Some rumors: - A rumored working title for the prequel is "Birth of an Empire." - Anthony Daniels revealed that he has finished filming all of his scenes as C-3PO, and that he will not be participating in any fighting scenes. He added that Star Wars fans will "love" the third prequel. - R2-D2 will apparently witness at least one lightsaber battle. He will also participate in a space battle, and will have an even bigger role than in "Attack of the Clones." - Sam Jackson revealed to USA Today that he will shoot his death scene soon. - The official Star Wars (http://www.starwars.com) site will allow Hyperspace subscribers to vote on which droid Obi-Wan will use in the film. |

I'm wondering when it will end. Just when the remaining Jedi head into obscurity? When will Portman die? Will we see it when the children are dropped off where they are?
We pretty much know everything but what exactly tosses Anikan to the other side. The death of his mother was the start, so the death of his wife should be the other step. But why will she die. Who's fault? Etc... And will Bobo Fett's character develop a little bit in 3. And of course if they foreshadowed who the emperor was anymore than they have, they might as well flash on the screen, he's the bad guy. ![]() I'll see it, when it is released on DVD. |

On a matter of principal, I'd rather watch holocaust videos than support george lucas' descent into greed motivated mediocrity. He can do good special effects, he can do a passable story but can someone tell this man he can't direct nor write? I mean i've heard better dialogue in porn movies than the dialogue used in sw2.
As a childhood fan of the original trilogy, i am curious about the plot, but i'ld probably be just as satisfied reading a ploy synopsis than wastingf 15 bucks to see a piece of trash like that. |

I will not go to see it at the theater. No fucking way. But I will probably rent it when it comes out on DVD. It's highly likely that it will suck, but I've the other five movies and I grew up with Star Wars, so I might as well see the final bit of the story.

The second one was horrible. The first one not much better.
I am kind of curious about how they will go from two to three and have it match up with the already established future. Plus, there is another opportunity for Yoda to kick ass. The best reason to go see #3 -- Almadala and Anakin can't go through the "falling in love" montage again, so we're safe. |

Ill admit that episodes 1 and 2 were entirely disappointing. But saying that, Ill also have to admit that the original Star Wars movies were my kiddie heroin I was hooked at a ripe young age so I must see episode three in the theater even if I know it is likely to be more of the same. Im just hoping to re-live that first highthe opening music just makes me feel like a kid again, even if that ends up as the best part of the movie.

Hell no, I won't go see Episode III. I figured I'd give Episode II a chance after it got better reviews than Episode I (and yes, I actually enjoyed Ep I), but it was disappointing, to say the least. I'll wait for Ep III to show up on Superstation.

The prequels have been crap so far, for sure (and this is coming from a geek currently making a lightsaber prop replica in his basement
![]() That said, I'll probably rent Ep III on DVD. I'm only mildly curious at this point. After TPM and AOTC, it's clearly too late to salvage much, even if Lucas suddenly wakes up one morning a good writer/director. After all, once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny ![]() |

The original movies were my favourite flicks of all time. I always argued - even into my 20s - that Star Wars was the best movie ever.
![]() Episode I kinda killed that legacy, and I didn't even bother to see Episode II - by then I was happily enjoying LOTR. I am curious about Ep III, I will admit, but I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD....and yes, I did buy the first two. |

I TiVo'ed Ep. II off of Showtime, or whatever it's playing on. Didn't spring for PPV earlier this year when it first showed up on DirecTV.
I still haven't watched it through. Before I TiVo'ed I saw the Yoda fight scene that everyone was raving about. But I haven't found the time to sit down and play the whole movie from the start. I doubt I will do even that much to see Ep. III. |
