Happy Budda's Birthday (May 1).
Maybe the Russian communists were really closet Buddhists.

I don't think so.
May 1 is labor day for a lot of Europeans, as well as some kind of pagan holiday. There are only 365 1/4 days in a year -bound to have some coincidences. |

Easy Toto, I was just joking. IRL May day may end up being really big in the U.K. this year. There are rumors of thousands of anarchists plotting to take over the tube, etc.

I thought he was born on April 8th?
May Day is the continuation of old-time festivals celebrating the beginning of summer--- it is a celebration of sex, fertility, flowers, purification, nature and the earth. Of course, most pagan holidays are celebrations of sex, nature and the earth... |

How many times have I met the Buddha in my travels on this road and killed him? How many more times will I do it? How long have I been transmigrating for? For how long, have I been accumulating karma and thus kept myself circulating, aeon after aeon on the alleged Wheel of Samsara? May I and all sentient beings, when meeting the Buddha on the road, instead of killing him yet again, finally stop, shake hands and say g'day! May I and all sentient beings also understand, that to actually believe in one's own bullshit, and to take oneself too seriously, constitutes yet another murder weapon for the killing of the Buddha!
