The entire gospels are about the transformation of life from soul to no-soul. This is where Jesus becomes acquinted with his own soul in preparation for resurrection. Quote:
Because Jesus never died physically. His ego died and he was set free under the name Bar-abbas. Quote:
I do not hold that we will all resurrect bodily. Only those who complete the race will resurrect. I do not hold that a spiritual life is the end because in heaven the spirit is redundant wherefore the spirit descends on the chosen one. Quote:
I agree and this same is true today. Quote:
We never left our body but moved from our conscious to our subconscious mind. Quote:
The end of the world is the end of his world. The rest period describes a period of doubt and after this grand inquisition the new life begins to the end of the age. Quote:

I can't believe no one else here mentioned this one. I guess they didn't have editors back then to make sure the same damn paragraph didn't get rehashed with slight rewording.
Ezra 1:1-2 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. II Chronicles 36:22-23 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up. Edited to change Corinthians to Chronicles. [ December 25, 2002: Message edited by: slept2long ]</p> |

The reference should be Chronicles and not Corinthians.
Chronicles often repeats material which is found elsewhere. What is your point? |

Yes but the Gospels is where the transformation fom soul to no-soul takes place. The end of the world is the birth of Christ, the transformation is in the Gospels (the take place in purgatory), and the New World is Revelation. Quote:

OOPS! My bad. Any examples you could provide? My point is that is my favourite biblical difficulty. Having the same passage nearly verbatim in two different chapters is just stupid and a thouroughly "human" error. |
