Default Magnesium and the anti-baby-pill?

Hello all,

In the laundry paper inside of the Magnesium package it says that one can obtain a Magnesium deficiency if one takes oral contraceptives. I've taken several different anti-baby-pills, but never once did the accompanying info say that this particular problem could conceivably exist. In Germany, the drug companies are required by law to caution the patient against any and all possible risks when taking their medication, even those with minimal possibilities (like in 1 out of a million people suffer serious side effects), so I would like to ask:

Is it true, that taking oral contraceptives can make you magnesium-deficient? If so, which sort of oral contraceptives? And how would that happen, assuming the woman still eats the same diet as before after she starts taking the contraceptive?

Just curious.
