As I understand it, the Abrahamic religions are those that claim the "god of Abraham." Those I can name are Judaism, Islam, and Christianity (and all of its offshoots).

Yes, that's basically it. It's used quite frequently by scholars of Buddhism and other "Eastern" religions. I first heard it defined as any religion whose followers claim literal or spiritual descent from Abraham, and corresponds loosely to the groups Moslems refer to as the people of the Book. It's a much better term than Judeo-Christiano-Islamic

They are those religions that see Abraham's obedience of God's command to murder his son as the epitome of all goodness. In other words: religions of blind submission to God.

Even though the Abrahamic religions come from North Africa/the Middle East, if you were going to say that Abrahamic religions are similar to something not of Europe, that would include Hinduism and Buddhism which are obviously not of Europe but definitely are not Abrahamic either.

abrahamic religions are those which claim that theres only one holy book, one god, one final messiah/prophet, and that they are the only truth or path to salvation, and everyone will be damned in hell except for themselves who will go to a heaven.

Well, that's a rather non-scientific, bigoted way to define it.

Now you made me defend theists. See what you made me do?
