Hahaha...Uninterceptable they say? I'm curious, if telepathy DID work, I'd wonder how you'd keep your enemies and much less your crew from "hearing" the message?

U.S. Commander: Retract your imaginary thought antennae, men! We are NOT in danger! I just have to give our exact position out!

(Insert other nationality) sub commander: Hey! What's this? Ah-ha! So that's where they are! They're in our waters!

U.S. Commander: Crap! They found us!

Other sub commander: Oh no! They know that we found them!

and so on...(pardon my ignorance of military jargon, this IS only to give you an idea)

Do you realize how hilarious it would be? Nothing would get done! Of course, you'd think that the Japanese fishing boat accident could have ALL been avoided...

Happy thinking.

There is a short piece on the government's ESP experiments in the Dec. 2001 Harper's. Quite amusing, about a man who tried to mentally locate and describe various Soviet military installations.

I think I saw that. He said there were lots of them, but he couldn't tell what was going on as they were all speaking in Russian. Sounds authentic to me.

I think the acid test of people who claim extraordinary mental powers is to follow them around all day everyday for a week. Then review the tapes and tally up how many times they can't find their car keys just like the rest of us.

Predictions on who will win the Grand National is the best test for me. Its a total lottery even when you know who the 40 runners will be. They have got no chance.

“Our schools have been scientifically designed to prevent over-education from happening. [...] The average American (should be) content with their humble role in life, because they're not tempted to think about any other role.”
William Torrey Harris, U.S. Commissioner of Education, 1889[/QB][/QUOTE]

Please tell me where you found this qoute. I believe it is true. The more educated you are, the more you expect out of life.

This one is a teacher? Please, not a science teacher!
