Helen is quite correct. Clears allegedly have perfect photographic memory and are capable of extraordinary feats of mathematics without any aids. Hubbard was decidedly discredited when his first clear was unable to remember what color an interviewer's tie was only a moment after the clear closed their eyes, and was unable to do simple multiplications in their head.

What a great quote! Where did you get it? Have you seen the website on the travails of a Mr. Henson with L. ROn's crowd? freehenson.da.ru |

Scientology strikes me the same way as a lot of secret societies. They convince you to spend lots of money and /or embarass yourself -- like those corporate moguls who go off to camp in California and dress in drag. SO you either buy into it or admit that you were took.
Unfortunately, there have been some very sad cases of young kids getting used and even "disappeared" while working on Hubbard's boat. Last I heard the Church HQ was onboard and somewhere off the coast of Moracco and supposedly, therefore, outside any nation's juridiction. Who's in charge now? |

sbaii, that's a very well no quote. It's actually no secret at all that Hubbard simply invented the religion. In fact, several well known sci-fi writers were there when he came up with the idea. But for some reason people just seem to forget that.
He also had questionable personal hygiene... |

Aren't they all an invention?
It's certainly not much more absurd than the religion of the crucified tripartite man-god. They are as absurd as each other and that point is illustrated nicely here... CRUISE BLAMES SPLIT ON NICOLE'S BELIEF IN 'CATHOLICISM': TOM Cruise has finally spilt the beans on his split with Australian actress Nicole Kidman. Cruise has spoken of his growing fear for his children as Nicole turned to a well known religious cult she called "Catholicism". 'One night I heard her telling the children a crazy story about some spirit guy called God creating the world in seven days,' said an obviously shaken Cruise. 'I didn't know where she had gotten the crazy story from. It's such a shame given all the clear evidence we have that the world was actually created by bombs dropped from the spaceship, Xeno.' Cruise claimed that his fears were confirmed when Nicole confessed to a womans magazine that she considered heself to be a Catholic. 'When I started to research things, I became more and more concerned,' said Cruise, who discovered a 'religion' led by a mysterious man called 'The Pope'. 'It's crazy. Women don't have equal rights and the leader of the group thinks that he can talk to spirits and that he is infallible. They wanted the kids to go to special "Catholic" schools and they even believe that birth control is evil - not that that is relevant to our relationship. Cruise claimed that the stories told by Nicole made it clear that he was dealing with some kind of cult. 'They've got all these crazy stories about snakes convincing women to eat apples and men walking on water', said Cruise. 'They are quite clever because the cult members never see this God guy who leads them but instead they are told they need "faith". I realised how lucky I was being able to pick up any number of science fiction books and see a phot of my leader L.Ron Hubbard.' Cruise, who will battle for joint custody of the coupLe's two adopted children, claims that saving them is now his main concern. 'One day I agreed to go with her to her "church", and the man in charge tried to drown my children to make them closer to their God.' said Cruise. 'They even wanted us to give them money for their weekly indoctrination sessions. I was so shocked I had to have an extra session on the electro-psychometer that night.' The Chaser |

www.parishioner.org/agree.html NOTE: These are graphic images, and anyone who is offended or easily upset by images of the brutality caused by pseudo-religious cults may wish to skip the viewing and take my word that these are not in the least bit humourus. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be running from the SeaOrg's goon squads... Message edited by case, to make sure everyone knows how frighteningly graphic these photos are. PS, look at the link Case gave us above. I was making fun of the cult, but he makes it clear that it is no laughing matter. Thanks Case. I am now repulsed by the celebrities that push this cult like Cruse and Revolta. What stupid sick people they are! |
