I'm curious - exactly WHAT are they feeding the bear? Isn't there supposed to be no 'death' in heaven or in the "Earthly Paradise"?
Or do plants not qualify as "Life" to JWs? Maybe the bear just eats the food, and it heads right thru the digestive tract untouched? Hmmmm, things to think about. Cheers, The San Diego Atheist |

There are several terrific articles and essays that debunk the "afterlife" in our infidels library. I see from your profile that you are very young and living in a part of the country that's dominated by fundamentalists, but I really, really urge you to take a look at some of these articles, especially the ones by Robert Ingersoll. They might change your life! |

Can't answer to the age thing in Heaven other than there won't be old people since aging is the weakening and decay of the body - since our bodies are perfect and there is no death - your body won't be aged.
There is no marriage in heaven - Everyone who ends up in Heaven is a child of God - God is the parent - every human are brothers and sisters in Christ - no marriage, no procreation, no dating etc in Heaven. We become like the angels. Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. |

It is paradise for those who love God. The joy and peace you experience in His precense is beyond anything imaginable. Everyone has a mansion in a city of golden streets, diamond and emerald buildings - water so clear its like pure crystal, all the desires of the heart fulfilled ( non sinful that is) - never tire, never hungry ( although you get to eat) - no sorrow, no pain, no death, no hate - get to fly and walk through walls - float around in the universe and marvel at His creation - watch Him create new things and rule over them. And best of All - be as close to Him as possible, eternally in His precense - sounds pretty nice to me.

Would we remember the other members of our family, our friends, who were unlucky enough to end up in Hell? Would we yearn for the loved ones we left on Earth, like Rosetti's "Blessed Damozel"? Would we be able to experience the delirious joy of the sublime, the difficult, and the tragic? For some of the most beautiful experiences come from suffering, danger, and overcoming. It appears that in the popular version of Heaven these would be nonexistent.
No wonder Brenard Shaw called the popular Heaven a kind of Hell in his "Man and Superman". "Could music be beautiful without dissonance?"~Richard Wagner "There is no exquisite beauty without strangeness."~Edgar Allan Poe "If there is a sin against life, it consists not of despairing about life but of wishing for another, ignoring the impeccable grandeur of this one."~Albert Camus "In Heaven all the interesting people are missing."~Nietzsche |

Spaz - not even a masochist will enjoy Hell - its more painful and dark than even they can withstand - they will be screaming in non pleasurable agony too.
Philechat - supposedly yes we will remember those who didn't make it but we will have enlightened understanding and realize those family and friends chose to reject God it was there choice. There will be no sadness. Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. |
