Default Uv

While discussing the hole in the ozon layer, it is always reported that because of this hole, the number of skin cancers in Australia has increased.
Leaving aside that most Australians remove thir T-shirt at the slighted hint of sun, my question is:

In view of the position of the sun, the geographical position of Austalia, and the location of the ozon hole above the South pole, it is impossible for UV radiation from the sun to fall on Australia through that hole. Of-course Australia gets UV like everybody alse, but not through that hole.

I must be wrong, but look at it and tell me why??

The Ozone layer depletion is not just localised to the antarctic. Ozone levels directly over australia have dropped as well. Try this australian government site covering ozone depletion.
