creation spam
I guess this guy harvested my email from the VT Freethought listserve on yahoo groups. I haven't looked at his site yet but I'll wager that he's full of shit.

Yahoo groups does not display your email address, to avoid address harvesting. It must have come from somewhere else.

From the site: "Did man descend from the Hominids?" I don't think further comment is nessasary. [ May 15, 2002: Message edited by: tgamble ]
|

I've read his book.
I still can't believe that he published naked pics claiming they were Anna Kournikova when in reality they were of someone else. He knew he'd get caught, he was just looking for the free press. |

I got spammed too- from the writer of this new book: Theory of Creation.
Anybody read it? I'm too lazy to check it out right now and am overwhelmed with other duties. ~WiGGiN~ [ May 15, 2002: Message edited by: Ender ]
|

The usual garbage: the blurb says
"The Theory of Creation will take you on a wondrous journey through time and space - from the explosive birth of our universe in the Big Bang, through the violent chaotic formation of planet Earth, to the creation of all life here - culminating in the creation of man. You will be presented with the Biblical Creation story from the perspective of science with an emphasis on God's plans for humanity and the purpose in His Creation. The Theory of Creation answers many of the enduring questions of science and resolves the Biblical Creation debate." >yawn< [ May 15, 2002: Message edited by: Vorkosigan ]
|

Yeah, you know it's going to be bad when the book jacket says, "The author is not a scientist. But he *did* stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!"

Another self-published masterpiece. iUniverse Publishers is a web-based self-publishing firm. Wonder how much he paid?

I just got this piece of spam today. I sent back a polite letter declining to purchase the book, but did tell them I was eagerly awaiting the next book in the series which I hoped would reconcile science and "The Wizard fo OZ" since those contradictions were really beginning to get to me.
