Who said it was meant to help?? If something angers me as much as that, I will be as splenetic as I can get away with. (Hence editing this post, Kevin.)

Since you apparently haven�t noticed, I do and did. I showed why the statement was so morally vacuus and bigoted, and threw in an insult for good measure. Standard procedure for creationists, HIV deniers, holocaust deniers... friggin� anyone, who say stuff that�s not just wrong, but inflammatorily wrong.

Oh, sure. But that�s not what angers me. It was the claim that those with AIDS have brought it on themselves by (to Paul5204) morally reprehensible actions; that they are less worthy of our concern and sympathy. As far as I�m concerned, antiscience arouses annoyance followed by explanation and refutation; bring in morality based on antiscience, and it arouses moral outrage and anger as well.

Do please explain what variety of �merely misinformed� allows this fool to say that the millions of AIDS victims are less deserving of sympathy that the millions of malaria ones? Should I indulge his ignorance and allow him to get away with any outrage??
