This says to me that American society is leaning toward a trend in magical thinking. Sad indeed.

Right! Our appetite for baloney here in the US rises onward, unabated. But that is what we are most successful at: selling stuff (and services). Of course, pets are frequently more than just cute companions to us. So, this attention to afterlife contacts represents that fully.

My husband and I use ads for these shows as an opportunity to talk to our daughter about how psychic scams work. We deconstructed the pet psychic last night whilst watching Jeff Corwin.
