Post Are The Disciples In Hell?

They followed Jesus for years, lived with him night and day. They witnessed him walk on water, bring Lazerus back from the dead, turn water into wine etc.
He actually told them that he would return from the dead, but when the time came they refused to believe it. They didn't have faith.
Nearly two thousand years later we are warned that hell awaits us if we don't have faith. Whichever way you look at it, the disciples cannot be in heaven.

Don't have an opinion on your hell question but the disciples sure must have been angry after they realized they were made fools of. Just think how embarrassed some of them must have been to realize that they were following a mentally ill guy with a messiah wish?

I will bet that most of them found another local looney to hitch on to. These lackey-types are always looking for someone to follow. Judas was the only one to come to his senses.

More interesting is that when Jesus spoke of the "eye of the needle" parable they replied: "then who can be saved?" indicating that they were not saved even while doing all of those miraculous things that none of us ever do while we claim to be saved!

As for the disciples, don't worry about them because they were recalled in the upper room, if you remember reading, and that is all they could have ever hoped for.

Ha, ha, cute one Amos. You and your serpentine jesuitical ways. You would be one fine medieval theologician, creeping along the foul halls of a monastery, figuring more and newer obsuritanistic thought to befuddle the peasant masses.

I have no thoughts on whether a bunch of imaginary characters of fiction are now in an imaginary place of torment, or in Amos-think, a tormented state of mind. Does this satisfy you?
Probably not, snake.

No, it does not. It was an elevated state of mind (drawn into the upper room) and this is the only remnant that remains for us to contemplate and comprehend.

OK, master of obscuritanistic thought, I will try again. The entire story was the product of the imagination of deluded individuals.

Oh yeah, "elevated state of mind". Drug culture stuff, no doubt.
