Correct Arrowman,
Any negative comments on her would just have been swamped by anger. She is and icon, and that's it. And yes, it looks as if there has indeed been no criminal intend in her case. And for Amos, you are also right. Its the losers that make it possible for others to be entrepreneurs. |

actually amos,
you should go to a communist country with that thinking. oh wait they are all reformed or bankrupt now. entrepeneurs create wealth. in a free market system. someone has to buy what you are selling because they like it. the idea that there has to be a loser for every winner economically is actually a village superstition throughout the world. it actually makes about as much sense as the evil eye or vampires or the ipu. |

Ever wondered why there is no suicide, abortion or birth control in village mentalities? |

birth control is an interesting concept, in hunter gatherer groups, they dont practice birthcontrol but their children are generally spaced about 5 yrs apart. because a womans body is geared by evolution to not be fertile while breastfeeding. the hunter gatherers practice ondemand breast feeding. as far as abortion goes, occasionally it does happen with herbs and infanticide also occurs. then there is also female circumcision. a quaint and lovely tradition that leaves a woman irreperably scarred. it is quite painful and generally peformed without anesthesia.
as far as the economy goes. spending is good. spending more would actually boost the economy, and thus you get a job or keep a job so you have more money to spend. i dont see how getting a job or a raise or keeping your present job makes you a loser. you obviously understand very little about a free market system |

well, i assume you see them begging on the street, cuz they are quite possibly schizophrenic and they just sit there begging. you know losers. we all see them. the lazy the second handers. the ones who would rater live off of another man's accomplishments instead of trying to make his own.

I actually don't like the word "loser" except when juxtaposed with winner. |

Guys, can we take the "losers vs winners" discussion elsewhere? Before a mod has to close the thread for being off topic.
Someone start a thread in PD or somewhere. |
