Should we really have moderators on this group, who are actually named after a god?

Some conflict of interest surely?

Well it is obvious that diana has a pretty warped idea of God because not to believe in the God in who's image she was created would mean that she does not believe in herself . . . unless, of course, she does not know who she really is as a representation of God on earth.

Thanks for the welcome, ReasonableDoubt.

That was all so...coherent, "Amos." I mean, I understood every word the first time through. I'm shocked. I need to sit down.

Who are you and what have you done with our Amos? (We like him, so give him back.)

Hi Diana! I'm new here too, but I've enjoyed reading your comments so far and I feel confident you won't pull a Yahweh with your new god-like Moderator powers.

I think these are euphemisms for "illogical" and "unscientific". What is so nonsensical about that?

*pausing a moment to look at Amos askance, as per usual, with subtle undertone*

Congratulations, diana! And don't worry about me. I'm still retired.

Um, ok. When someone says God is outside of science and outside of logic (and outside of time, etc), they really mean God is illogical, unscientific and impossible?

You learn something new every day. After 35 years of speaking this language, I'm still learning its nuances....

interesting irony.

'Diana' was one of the main deities that proved to be a major competitor to the Pauline Jesus movement as Paul was preaching his way through the cities of Asia Minor.
