Charitable deductions are the least problematic part of the faith based initiative. They could benefit any charitable organization, including the Internet Infidels and Atheists United.

But would Infidels or AU be considered "faith-based"?

(Laurie) I heard that these faith-based orgs cleared by Bush to receive federal tax dollars have been EXEMPTED from federal non-discrimination laws that apply to all other organizations receiving federal money. I don't recall how and where I heard this, and I want to document it. Does anyone have a link to this information?
