Dogs may have helped humans evolve.
This article speculates on ways that human interaction with dogs may have been the catalyst for some of our evolutionary tricks, such as art, language, and a broader exchange of culture.
I read elsewhere that dogs now number 68 million in the US while wolves are listed as an endangered species. If dogs are responsible for certain aspects of our evolution, then they are getting paid back by virtually enslaving humans who cater to their every need. |

I read that dogs may have given a certain group of early hominids an advantage in hunting etc. that unsuccesful hominids lacked, Neanderthals for example who died out. Dogs made the right choice by sucking up to humans early on, from an evolutionary perspective.
got to go now, my dog wants to go out. |
