Amos School Project Pt.2
Today one of my group members wanted to use a bit of "history" about a so-called fulfilled prophecy from Amos.
She told me that in 1948 after WWII the Muslims wanted to wipe out the last of the 6,000 Jews and England was going to help. I told her that she should recheck that story for the facts (her mom wrote it in her bible probably during a sermon) and that it was probably a dangerous generalization. I said that there could have been a fanatical group of Muslims wanting to do that and maybe 1 deranged person holding a high position in England was going to help but certainly not all the popular majority of Muslims and a consensious of England's leadership was eager to wipe out the remaining Jews. She made a strange face at me like I was an idiot or something and said that our audience (Christian college students) would just see it as a fulfillment. I said that we should always be as truthful and honest as possible with history. So does anyone know where this story is from? What are the details? Please include reputable sources... I'm starting to sound like a professor now Thanks. And check out my website and profile [ April 02, 2002: Message edited by: libertydude ] [ April 02, 2002: Message edited by: libertydude ]</p> |

[mimictype:Amos] Prophesy is for Catholics only, because our ki-theta soul is yapping at the gates to Our Collective Mother's yoni. That's why the clock of salvation is analog, not digital: so the hand of salvation can be on the number 13. [/Amos]
