Society is only worthwhile as long as the advantages of cooperative organization outwiegh the disadvantages of losing personal freedom.

Better copyright that before I steal it.

More and more I am convinced that common sense is no longer common.

Actually, I would think the father would be within his rights as a victim to allow "the slut" to live until the children reach age of majority. At that point, "the slut" will have outlived her usefulness. So the husband can get both justice and a mother for his children.

Unless the monarch decided to issue a proclamation making it a crime...

Of course, anybody who protested such a proclamation could be accused of advocating criminal activity.

Yes. I was being sarcastic.

Why do you hate women so much?

Goriller,

No person has a right to food, water ... The Government must not give or subsidize such resources to any person.

He (the king) has authority to regulate ... the use of ... water resources

This proposed new constitution says that no one has the right to water, and that the king alone has the right to regulate its distribution. Whether or not somone is willing to work is irrelevent. Under your system, the only people who will get water will be those who the king wants to have water. In other words, he will have the power of life and death over everyone at his whim.

And a theocracy doesn't? Try living under the Taliban.

Such conflict is at times unavoidable and necessary, even moral. But all conflict that democracy breeds is always completely unnecessary.
