I did not attribute the story to myself and I quoted who spoke thus in the last line (Thus spake Swaminathan Gurumurthy) and for your information The Independent media Centre is not the source. Please check with http://www.india.indymedia.org/ if they attribute if it is part of their copyrighted material.

The idea of posting was not to seek publicity for myself but to enlighten Americans how we Indians feel about that monster called Pope and all that he and his ilk represent; to stop the Papal clones from the Bible belt in the US to stop unleashing their Weapons of Mass Destruction (Evangelists) on India.

Regardless, you provided no link to the source, nor gave any indication that you were or were not Swaminathan Gurumurthy. Here at the IIDB we err on the side of caution with cut-n-paste posters and plagiarists.

When I entered a portion of your OP into Google, the Independant Media Centre was the only search return ... right down to, I might add, your OP title ("Pope is upset. Understandably.") which differs from the title on Gurumurthy's own site ("He is upset. Understandably"). Regardless, the entire post was cut-n-pasted without a link or clear attribution, both things we disdain here at the IIDB.

Most people here prefer to speak in their own words. Feel free to offer links, but speak for yourself.
