I thought we decided we were done with that penis anus thing.
Badfish Uhhh Darth, we are not in heaven now. Are you a preterist? Two things: 1) what is a preterist? 2) How would you interpret the quote form Jesus: "The kingdom of heaven is spread upon earth but people do not see it"? Badfish There won't be any death or suffering Darth, this is a terrible thing to believe that this is heaven. Since the bible seems to imply that all sorrow and suffering is done away with, I don't think we can be kicked out of heaven, Why is it terrible to believe this is heaven? Note: I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS HEAVEN!!!!! I can change my attitude towards suffering death, I will not judge it to be either good or bad, because I don't know absolutely what is good or bad, how should I know? Because a book said so? I really don't see where we will have the will to rebel or do anything to cause us to get kicked out. "ask and you shall be given" Maybe we asked for it? Oh I see, well that is a scary belief IMO. Even scarier than fundamental (read:'basic and without added tradition or manmade heritage") Christianity, huh? Oh, but I am not a christian in a normal sense, I am me My belief is that I know I nothing know, and that the methodology to understand is the yin/yang-Tao concept, although I of course don't KNOW if that is teh methodology to use, but it usually brings me far. Am I still a preterist? whatever it is? DD - Love Spliff |

I know I nothing know.
Now you come up to me and ask: "is there a heaven? Was Jesus teh son of God?" and so on and so forth. I then look in the texts you provide for me that are relevant. And then I analyse. The only apparent interpretation of this saying: "The kingdom of heaven is spread upon earth but people do not see it", as I see it, is the literal interpretation, because I haven't seen Jesus, I haven't seen angels with wings, I don't know if Jesus was divine or just a lunatic, a book can't really tell me this. I would have to BELIEVE that the book is true, namely the truth of Jesus' Divine heritage. I don't KNOW if teh book is true, but may believe so. Is it more clear now? DD - Love Spliff |

Well I don't know, a preterist believes the bible, but also believes end times prophesy has already been fulfilled.
Well if teh end times prophesy is fullfilled, should we be here discussing it? Of course I don't know how teh end of times will play out. I am unsure of your source of belief, so I can't really comment. My "source" is the "IS-ness". I don't know what is, but if you come to me and say: "Jesus was, he said this and this, he was the son of God", then I adopt the is-ness of that, and then start to analyse me through it, if it doesn't make sense I discard. Thats usually why we reach contradictions, OT God = Jealous, wrathfull, NT God = Love and forgiveness. It should be like this: OT God = NT God Right? It IS teh same God according to some right? Wrathfull = Forgiveness, it doesn't compute really...does it? Of course unless we take into account the methodology of teh yin/yang, and keeping taht fullfilled DD - Love Spliff |

Badfish:
How would interpret the mentioned saying of Jesus? I am quite keen on knowing other possible interpretations. DD - Love Spliff |
