ohio science draft
I heard on the radio this morning that a draft of the ohio science standards was posted and it did not include ID (hoo-yah!). I'm too damn lazy to follow up and i know that some of you folk are better with stuff so has anyone else heard? The final is to be approved this fall I think.

no, maybe the radio was just saying what the old standards were. maybe in my excitement i became delusional... if that was the case it really does seem odd that a news story was broadcast to state the status quo, I just don't know

You can find the standards and lots of other info about Ohio here, at the Ohio Citizens For Science website:

I found this news article (which should appear in the Wire tomorrow) so it looks as though you were correct: the second draft of the standards does not include ID or any non-science.

This is one time where I'm glad I didn't live or go to school in the states...
