Looks like I will soon be on my way to China to work for one year. Someone hinted to me the other day that Chinese men won't be happy to see a white dude scoring China babes. Is that true?

Are they protective? Racist?

Also, what percentage of Chinese women look as good as the chick in CROUCHING TIGER? I would like to do her for sure.

On a radio programme I heard recently they were interviewing Chinese women about sexual matters and these women said that they do not like western men because they are far too repressed sexually, had no imagination and were pretty ignorant and ungentlemanly, they preferred cultured gentlemen with lots of class, lots of stamina and enormous endowments.

So no you don't stand a cat in hells chance.

Can you get laid where you live now? The process may not be all that different, if you go to the right places. If you're physically unattractive, and don't come across as a good person, you probably won't have much luck, just like anywhere else.

I've never been to China, but I do live in an area that about 70% + made up of families that have moved here from Hong Kong or mainland China in the last 13 years, plus a substantial number of non immigrants descended from Chinese immigrants (probably another 10% or so). There are f attractive Chinese, average chinese and ugly Chinese, about the same proportions as in other groups. Certainly just being white won't make them think you're some sort of super attractive fellow. Isn't China short of women due to the 1 child policy and the cultural preference for sons? Competition could be tough.
Still, if you go to the right places, seem like a nice guy, yah, you could have some luck. Just like everywhere else, the people in China are people. Some are racist, some aren't, some may find an individual attractive, most probably won't. I suspect that you won't have any luck if you come across as some arrogant westerner intent on coming to China, having his way with some Chinese girls, and splitting.

Another thing to be aware of, AIDS is thought to be spreading quite rapidly in China. So use protection if you get the chance to need it, and be aware also that there may be an unfair stigma that sex with an outsider is more dangerous.
