1) Athiest

2) INTJ

3) Right-handed

4) I am introverted and I do think Intuitively... when given time to think... so the test isn't blatantly false in my case.

5) That last question had me stumped... How could such a smart psychologist write such a convoluted question?

1) atheist/humanist
2) INFP - "Healer"
3) right-handed
4) my profile was a little glorified, I think, but the general gist of it applied to me well... definitely sounds humanist to me.

Thanks Bree!!!:notworthy
That additional thread is most helpful(I suspected that with all these nerds here like me it must have existed somewhere!!) It only lacks the handedness stats which may or may not correlate at all. Too bad they worded it backwards or I would have found it in my search earlier!

Wow!! I'm pleasantly to see others like myself where I don't see it in the general public. Perhaps there is a computer savvy bias- but maybe it's that more atheists are on computer boards by nature? Don't know. This is not normally me...

All I DO know is that I did this at work recently after I had mine done and these persons are extremely computer savvy, although I don't know if they frequent "boards", maybe never. The results of the 10 managers in my department 7 men and 3 women ages 24 to 47- (I didn't test the assistants because it was for a managers meeting at the time) were: ESFJ(3), ESTJ(2), ISTJ(2), INTP, ENTP, and XSXJ(the only outright Xian one gave this answer meaning he was borderline on those traits- though we all pretty much know he's gay- go figure "not that here's anything wrong with that!").

The results here are very different so far (having looked at previous threads of course for more data).

Does anyone have data on believers?

The only Christians on the list were ISTJ (matched only one atheist) ESFJ (matched no atheists) and INTP, (matched MANY atheists)

I know many people think these tests are bunk as much as astrology, but I think they add value, unlike astrology. The questions are vague for a reason. I had problems with it as well, and changed my mind several times.. but it never changed my results.
I'll concede, you'll likely get more out of it if you score strong in the traits. If you score weak in more than one trait, then you probably cannot glean as much as those who score strongly- since they don't describe all factors inbetween the letters, just the tendencies. I am a huge skeptic by nature and have done the Enneagram in college as well with tepid results that had less sense to them for me. I feel the M-B is better, although far from perfect of course. Just remember, these are generalities (though for me they are remarkably on target).

P.S. The people I tell I'm an "Introvert" DO NOT believe me until I tell them that it doesn't mean "shy", it is simply the way you take in and process information from the world around you. I do this mostly on my own, I do not seek out nor readily accept the opinion of others as I often have reservations and would like to make my own conclusions. I think that I give my self my own best advice (whether I take it or not is another matter completely!!).... I just wanted to clarify that since many people think introverted people don't go out or do anything- which is very far from the truth for me- though they MAY not return phone calls for a few days .
