Futurama mimicing star trek:
Leela- I didn't want to leave them either, Fry, but what were we supposed to do? Fry- Well, usually on the show, someone would come up with a complicated plan, then explain it with a simple analogy. Leela- Hmm, if we can reroute engine power through the primary weapons, and reconfigure them to Melllvar's frequency, that should overload his electroquantum structure. Bender- Like putting too much air in a balloon! Fry- Of course, it's so simple! |

Heh. Then later,
Someone: Oh no! rerouting engine power through the primary weapons, and reconfiguring them to Melllvar's frequency is increasing his graviton sequence!* Fry: Like filling up a balloon with air... and something bad happens! *Or something. |

Oh yes. I vaguely remember that night. It ended up with three of us strapping on our rollerblades, grabbing our wooden training katanas and going outside for a joust... |
