Isn't crossspot a parody site? I cannot even fathom this being real.

Until today I thought children ran away from me only because I am horribly disfigured. Now I know it is because fundy parents are afraid I might turn on their kids' MIND!

It's very confusing. The site looks like a parody, and the "Huggy Jesus" thing would seem to support that. But on the other hand, it's really no worse than any verifiable American Christian site that I've seen, and in that context, the Huggy Jesus becomes increasingly believable.
I notice that the site is affiliated with http://www.gospelcom.net/ - which would be quite impossible if it was indeed a parody. So at the end of the day, I have to conclude that it's genuine - which leaves me not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Seriously, you folks have some pretty warped Christians over there. |
