No, they'd just have to do a Re-Design.

Well, I've responded to most of the threads. I'm waiting to see how long it is before they kick me off.

They appear to be creationists that have only read creationist sources.

They also hate talk.orgins as the last refuge of evolutionists who can't refute creationists.

P-lease. <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" />

They have absolutely no clue what science has or hasn't done.

Yep. These guys are wacky even by creationist standards. Should I invite them over here?

Go right ahead. They won't last long, till they go back to their own board with their tales between their legs.

I'm disappointed to see this. Nicholas Petreley (owner of petreley.org) wrote a bunch of provocative and thoughtful pro-open-source software columns when he worked for InfoWorld. He was a big promoter of the Free/Open/NetBSD and Linux (as well as Apache, Samba, etc.) projects. Many of his criticisms of Microsoft's practices were spot-on. 'Tis a terrible shame to see that he's over on the Dark Side wrt the creation/evolution controversy.

Cognitive dissonance can raise its ugly head in the most unexpected places, it seems...

From Petreley, owner of the board:

I've had it with people who don't read what they rebut and/or post links to talkorigins as their answers. I don't know where you evolutionists suddenly came from, but enjoy your own empty lovefest with each other. I'm confining my activity to those who actually have some reading comprehension skills and know how to type things other than URLs.

I found him out a year or so ago when InfoWorld redid their layout. For the first few issues that had a book recommendation section where columnists would take turns writing a short non-technology book recommendation. At about the second or third issue Nick got his recommendation in: Phillip Johnson's "Darwin on Trial".

I wrote an indignant letter to the editor (as I'm sure others did too) and the book review feature was promptly and silently dropped.
