Recently <a href="http://www.avidd.org" target="_blank">American Veterans in Domestic Defense</a> has vowed to <a href="http://www.avidd.org/articles.php" target="_blank">protect</a> Roy's Rock from being removed. Their mission is to "Veterans and concerned citizens coming together as a diplomatic force to fullfill their oath '...to defend the United States and it's Constitution [sic] against all enemies both foreign and domestic.'"

Of course their list of <a href="http://www.avidd.org/template.php?page=enemies" target="_blank">domestic "enemies"</a> involves some of the greatest defenders of constitutional rights, which makes me wonder if they have ever read the constitution. Why don't they just call their organization for what it is: The Konservatice Kwistian Kampaign for Tax-Protesting and Oppression of Minorities.

After reading <a href="http://www.avidd.org/template.php?page=challenge" target="_blank">The Challenge</a> , by AVIDD leader General Raymond G. Davis, I imagine this is what Sen. Joseph McCarthy would have sounded like in uniform.

So, if Federal troops show up to confront AVIDD, which side is "defend[ing] the United States and it's [sic] Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, so help me God"?

And how about this little note penned at the bottom of
<a href="http://www.avidd.org/template.php?page=enemies" target="_blank">domestic enemies:</a>

AVIDD will study the methods by which each of these and other domestic enemies operate and plan a strategy to neutralize their destructiveness.

Sounds like military doublespeak for "we're going to blow s*** up."

Those people are nuts. This talk of "domestic enemies" is a thinly velied advocacy of violence against those whom they disagree with. Their webpage contains the expected bombastic rhetoric, bad logic, and idiotic ideas.
