Post Ceasing to Exist: Absolute Certainty?

Hello everyone, I've been posting over in Evolution/Creation. I look forward to participation over here someday. Right now, I need to post a peripheral topic here to abide by the rules.

(This topic is primarily directed at Kevin Dorner.)

My claim:

Quote:

The time will come when laughing will cease, Kevin. No need to answer me--ask yourself this question: Are you ready?
But he does answer me:

</strong>

So perhaps Kevin can tell me how I should interpret his vague response. Is it:

-- a nervous giggle because he's not really thought this through?
-- non-chalance concerning his impending death (it won't be long now)
-- that he somehow has uniquely privileged information so that he knows with absolute certainty that he will cease to exist when he dies?

I fully expect to cease to exist when I die.

But if not, do you believe I should have anything to fear from the creator, simply for being honestly mistaken about his/her/its existence? For having been created so human as to be fallible?

I don't believe that his response was vague at all.

First, he thinks the notion that we will die but not really die to be childish. I agree.

Second, he doesn't expect to survive after death. I agree.

Nothing he said implies absolute certainty. For example, it is possible that I am wrong. I don't think I am though.

And I don't think this is an appropriate topic for BC&A
